How to enable Mouse Input Mode
Mouse Input Mode lets you control an on-screen mouse pointer using your controller, instead of a physical mouse or touchscreen. This is helpful when using desktop apps, menus, or games during streaming that require a pointer. How to Enable It 1. Go to Settings β Inputs. 2. Set a button combination under Mouse Input Keys. 3. While streaming, press that combination to toggle Mouse Input Mode on or off. Controls While Active | Control | Action | | ------------------ | ------------------------- | | Left Stick | Move the mouse pointer | | Right Stick | Scroll up/down/left/right | | RT (Right Trigger) | Left click | | LT (Left Trigger) | Right click | | RB (Right Bumper) | Move the pointer faster | | LB (Left Bumper) | Move the pointer slower | Tips - You can swap left/right click and reverse scroll direction under Swap Mouse Keys and Swap Mouse Scroll in Settings. - If you only use one finger on a touchscreen, your controller's triggers can act as mouse clicks automatically, even without turning Mouse Input Mode on.
βοΈ TroubleshootingLog in to Epic Games with an Auth Code
If youβre having trouble signing in to Epic Games directly through Heroic Games Launcher, you can use an authorization code to log in instead. Get Your Epic Games Authorization Code 1. Open legendary.gl/epiclogin in your browser. 2. Sign in to your Epic Games account if prompted. 3. After signing in, Epic Games will display a page containing account authentication information. 4. Find the authorizationCode value and copy only the code. Log in Through Heroic Games Launcher 1. Open Heroic Games Launcher. 2. Go to the Epic Games login screen. 3. Select Epic Alternative Login Method. 4. Paste the authorization code you copied from your browser. 5. Select Log In. Once authentication is complete, Heroic will connect to your Epic Games account and load your library. Notice: If the authorization code is rejected or the login fails, open legendary.gl/epiclogin again and generate a new code. Do not reuse an old authorization code.
βοΈ TroubleshootingChanging the Video Codec
Spacerun lets you choose which video codec is used to stream your session. Different codecs trade off image quality, bandwidth usage, and device compatibility, so picking the right one can improve your streaming experience. How to change it 1. Open Spacerun and go to Settings. 2. Select the Stream tab. 3. Under Codec, choose the option that fits your setup: - H.264 - best compatibility, works on almost any device. - HEVC - better quality at the same bandwidth, needs a supported device/GPU. - AV1 - best efficiency, requires a modern device with AV1 decoding support. Click here to jump straight to this setting. Tips - If your device doesn't support a codec, streaming will fail to start β switch back to H.264. - Lower-bandwidth connections benefit most from H.265 or AV1. - Changing the codec doesn't affect resolution or frame rate settings.
ποΈ Games & LibraryChecking Supported Games
Spacerun runs your games on Linux cloud instances. Since not all games are built for Linux, we rely on Proton compatibility to run Windows games. You can check how well a game runs before playing. How to check 1. Go to ProtonDB. 2. Search for your game by name. 3. Check the compatibility rating: - Platinum / Gold β runs great, no issues expected. - Silver β runs well, minor issues possible. - Bronze β playable, but with noticeable issues. - Borked β not recommended, likely won't run. Tips - Ratings come from the community and may vary by game version. - If a game has a low rating, check the reports on ProtonDB for specific workarounds. - Some games may run better or worse on Spacerun than reported, since our setup differs from a personal Linux PC. Still unsure? Contact support with the game name and we'll confirm if it's supported on Spacerun.
