The performance overlay lets you monitor important performance information while playing, such as your stream and connection performance.

### Enable the Performance Overlay

You can enable the performance overlay directly from the in-game overlay:

1. Open the in-game overlay.

2. Find Performance Overlay in the stream controls.

3. Enable Performance Overlay.

4. The performance information will appear on your screen while you play.

> You can disable the performance overlay at any time by opening the in-game overlay and turning Performance Overlay off.

### Enable Detailed Performance Overlay

For more detailed performance information, you first need to enable Developer Mode.

Click here to open the Detailed Performance Overlay settings directly, or: 

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to About.

3. Enable Detailed Performance Overlay.

The detailed performance overlay will provide additional performance information while you are playing.

> **Notice:** Developer Mode is only required to access the **Detailed Performance Overlay**. The standard **Performance Overlay** can be enabled directly from the in-game overlay.
