Spacerun runs your games on Linux cloud instances. Since not all games are built for Linux, we rely on [Proton](<https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton>) compatibility to run Windows games. You can check how well a game runs before playing.

## How to check

1. Go to [ProtonDB](<https://www.protondb.com>).

2. Search for your game by name.

3. Check the compatibility rating:

   *  **Platinum / Gold** — runs great, no issues expected.

   * **Silver** — runs well, minor issues possible.

   * **Bronze** — playable, but with noticeable issues.

   * **Borked** — not recommended, likely won't run.

## Tips

* Ratings come from the community and may vary by game version.

* If a game has a low rating, check the reports on ProtonDB for specific workarounds.

* Some games may run better or worse on Spacerun than reported, since our setup differs from a personal Linux PC.
